Flashless Photo. Press for Deaging Lines with Birthdays.
January 17, 2011, after a shower, with water and sesame seed oil in my hair, no dye.
Chronological Calendar Age: 61.68, Model Age: 38.71,
rejuvenation rate B = - 5.1 years/year. (See Age Transformation.)
In December and January I used Terraternal Astragaloside IV (100 mg/day) for the rejuvenation application for the first 15 days of the month, plus a couple of bottles of GAIA Herbs astragalus root extract in glycerin (green label, 1 mg astragalosides per 30 drops), which I applied to my scalp. I also used alpha-GPC and exercise to raise HGH levels for parallel pathway activation of hTERT. Obviously, the problem here is that Green just does not look like Steve Reeves rising out of the sea with a big grin and splendid definition, which I would have preferred, believe me. I got a lot of pinapple and grapefruit this month with tuna fish, plus some skim milk and tomato soup with slightly improved supplements. This month I tried to follow Kang's advice on nicotinamide [Links], which has extended life spans of cells in the lab by a factor of 1.6. (See Kang HT, Lee HI, Hwang ES (2006), Nicotinamide extends replicative lifespan of Human Cells, Aging Cell, 5(5): 423-36.) This is due to fewer telomeric repeats lost per cell division, so that cells can divide more. However, all I could get was 500 mg capsules of Vitamin B3 (niacin), which I added to my usual 4 daily Super B-Complex pills for 100 mg of niacinamide [Links, also called nicotinamide], in addition to other B-vitamins and material functioning like a homocysteine shield against atherosclerotic plaque. Some vitamin B3 is also really nicotinamide. I also used whey protein, another HGH secretagogue added to alpha-GPC to kick HGH up as high as possible to get higher hTERT mRNA levels to support telomerase activity (7). However, unless I get behind heavier iron, nothing much will happen to my physical size from doing pushups, curls with light dumbells, and other light exercise, although my HGH levels are high. I had to do 35 pull-ups with 100 lb chained on to get 19 inch arms back when I was really doing some bodybuilding. Creatine monohydrate could usually get me through sticking points, which is how I pressed 300 lb at 48. Caloric restriction, however, ought to eventually produce a leaner, more photogenic look. I don't know why I find caloric restriction such a devilish challenge.

Telomerase Activation On Period (1st 15 days of the month)
100 mg Terraternal Astragaloside IV per day (2 x 50 mg capsules at bedtime),
4 mg astragalosides/day to the scalp as a telomerase activator,
____GAIA Herbs Astragalus Root Extract, 30 drops per 1 mg astragalosides.
1200 mg Alpha GPC (alpha glycerylphosphorylcholine, Now Foods) as an HGH secretagogue.
Whey protein as an HGH secretagogue. HGH activates hTERT mRNA transcription.
Rosemary, including Rosemary tea (extract) and Essential Oil of Rosemary nasal inhalent.
Low-Polyphenol diet (tuna, skim milk, grapefruit, pineapple).

Every Day of the Month
1 or 2 Equate multivitamin pills.
3000 mg of vitamin C/day, 500 mg per serving, distributed over the day.
500 mg of Niacin/day (Spring Valley Flush Free Niacin, Inositol Hexanicotinate).
100 mg Qunol Ultra CoQ10/day (a Wal-Mart brand claiming x 3 bioavailability),
4 x (200 mg alpha lipoic acid + 400 mg Acetyl L-Carnitine) Spring Valley.
4 x 2000 IU, vitamin D, Super Strength, Spring Valley.
4 x Acetyl L-Carnitine) Super B-Complex tablets, Spring Valley.
____4 x (150 mg vitamin C, 100 mg vitamin B1, 20 mg vitamin B2, 25 mg niacinamide,
____2 mg vitamin B6, 400 mcg Folic Acid, 15 mcg vitamin B12, 3.8 mcg Biotin,
____5 mg Pantothenic acid, Liver powder 100 mg, Brewer's Yeast 100 mg.)
4 x 400 mg Magnesium, with 15 mg zinc (15 mcg vitamin B12, 3.8 mcg Spring Valley).

Telomerase Inhibition Period (Last 15 days of the month)
Green Tea every day to the scalp as a dihydrotestosterone inhibitor, foils hair loss.
3 x 2 tablespoons Coca powder in ice water, taken like tea.
4 x Green Tea Tablets (EGCG 60 mg, chromium 100 mcg, apple cider vinegar 500 mg,
____Citrus Aurantium 300 mg).
8 x 200 mg Red Wine Complex (contains Resveratrol), Spring Valley.
4 x 1000 mg Omega-3 Fish Oil, Spring Valley.
1 x 3 mg Melatonin (Spring Valley Tablet) at bedtime.
Curcumin from Turmeric, taken in water with black pepper to improve bioavailability.
High-Polyphenol diet (tends to generate anticancer telomerase inhibitors).

Midnight Photos: Astragalus Extract Seems to Darken Hair after Twelve Months.

My hair was somewhat moist yet at midnight in the rightmost picture.
For old people, everything is magically worse-looking at midnight. The former midnight photo to the left does look rather more grey. Kodak camera flash was used on the earlier photos, however. Now I'm using a Vivitar Vivicam 7022. I note that for some reason my hair usually seems to look darker in the morning after a long night's sleep than it does at midnight, even when dry. Direct treatment of the scalp with astragalus extract started about January 24, 2010. Now in January 2011 I am using GAIA Herbs Astragalus Root Extract in glycerin at 1 mg of astragalosides per 30 drops on my scalp. Astragalus extract taken orally seemed to have failed to restore hair color, as the rightmost photo shows. Prior to this I had merely done a few skin, scalp, and eye tests with astragalus extract in glycerin to determine if topical application would be immediately objectionable. It passed initial tests, but at first I was hoping direct application would not be required. After midnight 1/24/2010 I decided it would be best to go with direct application, as Artandi Labs at Stanford University reported positive hair restoration results on experimental animals with direct application of astragalosides to hairy skin.

I am convinced that astragaloside application to the scalp is effective.
Cost is 2 x ($11.50) for 2 bottles/month of GAIA Herbs Astragalus Root Extract.
However, this was achieved while taking 100 mg Terraternal Astragaloside IV per day
during the first half of the month, 1/2 bottle of 60 x 50 mg caps, $138.00/2 = $69.00.
The Now Foods alpha-GPC from Barney's Discount Drugs was about $30.00 for higher HGH.
Repeated visual inspections will eliminate tricks of light and shadow and time goes on.

"Sunluck" sesame oil, which makes my hair darker, was removed with a shower,
the hair dryed early in the evening, then photographed dry at midnight for a check.
There is still quite a bit of grey in the hair, but it obviously has darked over a year.

Grey hairs in dry hair show up under bright lights that are invisible in wet or oiled hair.

A subsequent Jan 30, 2011 midnight experiment with brighter lights highlights the grey hairs in dry hair.
This time I used brighter lights and the grey becomes relatively evident. Now 38.08 looks prematurely grey.
Evidently, only grey hair counts in hair clipping sets will be adequate evidence for hair color transformation.
However, I expect that later photos in this series will show my dry hair as jet black hair under bright lights.
In another year, Calendar Age 62.79 will correspond to Model Age 32.89.
In 2 years, Calendar Age 63.7972603 will correspond to Model Age 27.7117, and
In 3 years, Calendar Age 64.7972603 (my "TA-65" year) might correspond to Model Age 22.5251.

Anti-Aging Flight Plan down to Model Age 25.12 on August 31, 2013 at Age 64.3.
Here Model_Age = Bt + Starting_Age, B=1 for normal aging, B > 1 for accelerated aging,
B=0 for no aging, and B < 0 for rejuvenation, or negative aging. Here initially B= 1 for
normal aging, then B= - 5.2 years/ year during the deaging phase, followed by B=0 zero aging
until Madame Jean Louise Calment's 122 years, 164 days record is exceeded at 2071.9634 AD,
which should be right at the Winter Solstice when shadows are shortest about Dec 22, 2071.
About this time the S.Monocerotis skywalker above the Cone Nebula crosses the meridian.

Note the "Cross of Years" formed by the 110 and 122.45 barriers. There are thousands
of Americans over 100, of whom hardly any will get though the 110 year barrier without medicine.

Were to burst at once into the sky,
That would be like the splendor
