After Christmas turkey and dressing with cranberry sauce and Waldorf salad with chopped apples, mixed nuts, and raisins, hold the Miracle Whip. Seems to need some dieting to tighten up. Melanocyte-stimulating hormone from tribulus might help. Higher catalase from ashwagandha or bacopa should also help. Used Bacopa extensively last month.

Benefits of Light Exercise with Dumbells at 64 (Revised)

stretch the skin tight...must be 23!
However, it often looks older.
Students usually take me for an elder.

Colostrum was applied to the skin
for tightening before photographing, then
extra virgin olive oil was rubbed in.
However, this is done daily for the whole body.

Using a pair of light 55 pound dumbells most of the time with just 6 sets per muscle, I am fairly muscular and athletic-looking, with arms that pump up to 18 inches. I use a split routine that covers the body in 3-4 days. I have been exercising my neck more to combat platysmal banding, using 12 sets with odd-angle finishing reps on each set. I feel that with a more rigorous program in a weight-room I could recover my 19 inch arms and acquire better definition at 64. There are 15 different endogenous telomerase activators that are expressed via exercise, plus Akt expression that depresses high FOXO levels leading to cellular senescence. Exercise also converts ATP to cyclic AMP, which lowers caveolin-1 expression to prevent or reverse cellular senescence in the presence of EGF or PDGF growth factors (both telomerase activators) elevated by exercise. Supplements exist to further elevate exercise-induced telomerase activators. Note that IL-6, which works well to promote hTERT mRNA transcription in dermal fibroblasts as well as in leukocytes via activation of STAT3, can peak up very high levels with 3 hours of continuous exercise. Pumping up tight helps, because the associated lactates function as histone deacetylase inhibitors to expand chromatin in the cellular nucleus for transciption of hTERT mRNA. Atherosclerotic plaque must be kept low with a low triglyceride diet and homocysteine blockers to pursue bodybuilding when elderly, preventing most strokes and heart attacks. Note that high testosterone from exercise and supplements promotes reverse cholesterol transport, reducing atherosclerotic plaque accumulation. Sugar must be limited to prevent glycation hardening of the arteries that can lead to a subclavian aneurysm, a sudden painful ballooning of hardened arteries near the heart that can be experienced by an elderly ice-cream eating weightlifter during bench presses. If the heart beat and blood pressure are normal, the arterial plaque is probably quite minimal, so that one can more safely exercise as an elderly specimen if a low sugar diet is pursued and no hardening of the arteries exists. Some Swiss cheese may be taken for a strong source of vitamin K2 to prevent calcification hardening leading to aortic stenosis. For the skin I have been relying primarily on colostrum solution, extra virgin olive oil, and astragalus extract for the scalp. My basic program emphasizes 2 weeks of telomerase activators followed by 2 weeks of telomerase inhibitors with anticancer nutraceuticals such as ginger, garlic, and milk thistle extract. The mainstay during the telomerase activation phase is 33 grams/day of NOW astragalus root plus several grams of Fenugreek seed before bedtime, with Hawthorn extract, a DHEA testosterone-booster, and up to ten grams arginine throughout the day. I recommend adding tribulus to induce melanocyte-stimulating hormone for restoring hair color, but I can't always afford it myself, with everything else I am taking.

This month I tried to improve the performance of telomerase activators with histone deacetylase inhibitors (HDAC inhibitors) including L-carnitine and lactates from exercise. Next month I will try to get some broccoli sprouts for sulforaphane, also an HDAC inhibitor. This should improve the performance of telomerase in mesenchymal cell derived connective tissues including bone and cartilage.

until Madame Jean Louise Calment's 122 years, 164 days record is exceeded at 2071.9634 AD,
which should be right at the Winter Solstice when shadows are shortest about Dec 22, 2071.
About this time the S.Monocerotis skywalker above the Cone Nebula crosses the meridian.

Note the "Cross of Years" formed by the 110 and 122.45 barriers. There are thousands
of Americans over 100, of whom hardly any will get though the 110 year barrier without medicine.
